Job Description
Exciting opportunity for a dedicated Occupational Therapy Assistant to support K-12 students across two school sites in Cambridge, MA. This full-time position focuses on providing exceptional therapeutic services during a contract leave, catering to the diverse needs of students from the 2024-2025 to the 2025-2026 school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid Massachusetts COTA License
- Associate’s degree in Occupational Therapy
- Experience working in school settings preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators and other healthcare professionals
- Knowledge of IEPs and school-based therapy practices
Location:
- Cambridge, MA
Responsibilities:
- Deliver occupational therapy services to students as outlined in individual education plans (IEPs)
- Assist in the assessment and evaluation of students’ therapeutic needs
- Implement treatment plans and document student progress
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other specialists to support student goals
- Maintain compliance with all state and school regulations regarding therapy services
- Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities
