Job Description

A rewarding opportunity is available for a dedicated professional specializing in speech-language pathology within a K-12 educational setting. This full-time position involves working directly with early intervention students, focusing on those aged 3 to 5 years who exhibit mild to moderate speech delays.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field
  • Valid state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist
  • ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC)
  • Experience working with young children, particularly in a school setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs)

Location:

  • Mar Lin, PA

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments to determine speech and language needs of students
  • Develop and implement appropriate therapy plans tailored to individual students
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student progress
  • Monitor and document student progress and adjust therapy goals as needed
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to IEP discussions
