Job Description

An opportunity has arisen for a dedicated professional to provide vital therapeutic services in an educational setting. This role focuses on enhancing the lives of students through assessed and individualized treatment plans, fostering both academic and personal development.

Qualifications:

Current California Occupational Therapy (OT) or Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) license
Previous experience in school-based therapy preferred
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to collaborate effectively with educational staff and families
Knowledge of IEPs and related documentation processes

Location:
Crescent City, CA

Responsibilities:

Deliver occupational therapy services to K-12 students in accordance with established IEPs
Assess student needs and develop tailored therapy goals and treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student progress
Maintain accurate records of therapy sessions and student outcomes
Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities
