Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional dedicated to supporting students in their communication needs. This role focuses on providing evaluation and intervention services within an educational setting, catering to a diverse K-12 student population.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
  • Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
  • Experience working with PreK students preferred.
  • Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).

Location:

  • Silver City, NM, with services provided in Bayard, NM.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive evaluations for PreK students to assess speech and language development.
  • Analyze assessment results to inform intervention strategies and IEP development.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement and monitor individualized treatment plans.
  • Provide direct speech and language therapy to students requiring support.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions.
  • Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
