Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled professional dedicated to supporting students in their communication needs. This role focuses on providing evaluation and intervention services within an educational setting, catering to a diverse K-12 student population.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field.
- Valid state license or certification in Speech-Language Pathology.
- Experience working with PreK students preferred.
- Strong assessment and evaluation skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs).
Location:
- Silver City, NM, with services provided in Bayard, NM.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive evaluations for PreK students to assess speech and language development.
- Analyze assessment results to inform intervention strategies and IEP development.
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to implement and monitor individualized treatment plans.
- Provide direct speech and language therapy to students requiring support.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions.
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and professional development opportunities.
