Job Description
An opportunity has arisen for a skilled and compassionate Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to take on a part-time role in an educational setting. This position, starting immediately and extending through the remainder of the school year, involves providing targeted support to students with speech and language needs.
Qualifications:
- Active Washington state SLP license with ESA certification
- CCC (Certification of Clinical Competence) in Speech-Language Pathology
- Experience working with K-12 students, particularly at the elementary level
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to develop individualized education plans (IEPs) and manage a student caseload effectively
Location:
Everett, WA
Responsibilities:
- Assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech and language disorders
- Develop and implement appropriate IEPs tailored to individual student needs
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other professionals to support student outcomes
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and treatment plans
- Provide consultation to teachers and staff regarding students’ speech and language needs
