Job Description
An opportunity exists for a skilled Speech-Language Pathologist to support students in a K-12 educational setting located in Elk Grove, CA. This role is pivotal in addressing the diverse communication needs of students, enabling them to achieve their educational goals.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Speech-Language Pathologist License
- Certification of Clinical Competence (CCC) or Clinical Fellow Year (CFY) supervision experience
- Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
- Proficiency in conducting evaluations and developing IEPs
- Familiarity with teletherapy practices is a plus
Location:
- Elk Grove, CA, with proximity to Sacramento, Galt, and Walnut Grove for convenience
Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and indirect speech and language services to students
- Conduct assessments to evaluate student needs and develop appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with educational staff to implement IEP goals effectively
- Maintain accurate records of student progress and documentation of services provided
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and communicate effectively with parents and guardians
