Job Description
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Teacher of the Visually Impairment (TVI) to provide instructional services to students with visual impairment or students with a visual impairment in combination with additional disabilities. This 1099 contract position is full-time till the end of the school year.In this role, the Teacher in Visual Impairment (TVI) will conduct assessments, provide virtual instructions, develop & implement IEPs. Qualifications:
- Valid Michigan certification as a Teacher of the Visually Impaired (TVI)
- Experience working with students who have visual impairments, preferably in a virtual environment.
- Knowledge of braille, assistive technology, and other strategies for supporting visually impaired students.
- Must provide your own liability insurance
