Job Description

Remote School Psychologist- Rhode Island

Position: School Psychologist
Type: 1099 Contract (Remote)
Location: RI (Remote)
Compensation: Competitive hourly rate- paid WEEKLY
 

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments and evaluations for students.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students.
  • Develop and implement intervention strategies to support student learning and mental health.
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff to address students' needs.
  • Create and maintain accurate records and reports of assessments and interventions.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and contribute to the development of educational plans.
  • Stay current with best practices and developments in the field of school psychology.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree or higher (preferred) in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid Rhode Island school psychologist certification or license.
  • Previous experience in a school setting is HIGHLY preferred.
  • Strong understanding of psychological assessment, counseling techniques, and educational strategies.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Reliable internet connection and a suitable home office setup for remote work.
