Job Description

An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Speech Language Pathologist specializing in pediatric and educational settings. This part-time position is located in Leland, NC, within an engaging elementary school environment, serving students from kindergarten through eighth grade.

Qualifications:

  • Valid North Carolina Speech Language Pathologist License
  • Experience in pediatric speech therapy, particularly in school settings
  • Proficiency in teletherapy practices
  • Ability to work effectively with K-8th grade students
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Location:

  • Leland, NC

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students' speech and language needs
  • Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in accordance with state guidelines
  • Provide direct therapy services to students requiring speech and language support
  • Collaborate with teachers, parents, and other professionals to support students’ overall development
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and outcomes
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities as required
