Job Description
An exciting opportunity awaits for dedicated professionals specializing in educational and psychological services within a K-12 setting. This onsite position involves working closely with students to support their educational and emotional needs, ensuring a positive and enriching school experience for all.
Qualifications:
- Active Georgia School Psychologist License
- Experience working with K-12 students
- Strong assessment and diagnostic skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with educators, parents, and other specialists
- Commitment to student well-being and academic success
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Location:
- Jackson, GA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine student needs and eligibility for services.
- Collaborate with teachers and staff to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs).
- Provide guidance and support to students facing emotional and behavioral challenges.
- Facilitate workshops and training sessions for staff on psychological services and support.
- Communicate regularly with parents and guardians regarding student progress and strategies for support.
- Monitor and document student progress and outcomes in accordance with school policies.
