Job Description
An opportunity exists for a dedicated professional to provide essential physical therapy services in an elementary school setting. This role is focused on supporting students from kindergarten through fifth grade, addressing their diverse physical therapy needs within the classroom environment.
Qualifications:
- Current MO Physical Therapist License
- Experience in healthcare, particularly within school settings
- Familiarity with K-5th grade student needs and curriculum
- Strong communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Location:
- Saint Clair, MO – Elementary School Environment
Responsibilities:
- Conduct assessments and evaluations to determine students’ physical therapy needs
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized treatment plans
- Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to support student goals
- Provide direct therapy services and ensure documentation of progress
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to multidisciplinary team discussions
