Job Description
In an engaging educational environment located in Emeryville, CA, we are seeking dedicated professionals to support students through their psychological and educational needs. This position focuses on providing services in a K-12 school setting during the extended school year (ESY) and into the next school year.
Qualifications:
- Valid California Pupil Personnel Services (PPS) credential in School Psychology
- Experience working in K-12 educational settings
- Strong assessment and intervention skills
- Ability to collaborate effectively with teachers, staff, and parents
- Flexibility to adapt to varying student needs and caseloads
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
Location: Emeryville, CA
Responsibilities:
- Conduct psychological assessments and develop appropriate intervention plans for students
- Collaborate with educational staff to implement strategies that support student learning and well-being
- Provide individual and group counseling to students, addressing a range of psychological concerns
- Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings and contribute to the development of individualized education programs (IEPs)
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation of student progress and interventions
- Engage with families to provide resources and support for student success
