VIRTUAL School Psychologist 
Location:
Remote (Nebraska)
Type: FT

Position Overview: We are seeking passionate and qualified Virtual School Psychologists to join our team. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will work remotely to support students' mental health and educational needs at a Nebraska school district. Your role will involve providing psychological assessments, counseling, and consultation services to students, parents, and educational staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Responsibilities will differ depending on the districts needs and your areas of expertise.
  • Conduct virtual psychological assessments and evaluations.
  • Provide individual and group counseling to students via secure online platforms.
  • Collaborate with teachers, administrators, and parents to develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) and behavioral intervention plans (BIPs).
  • Offer crisis intervention and support to students in distress.
  • Develop and deliver professional development workshops for educators and staff on mental health topics.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of student progress and interventions.
  • Stay current with best practices in school psychology and virtual counseling.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in School Psychology or a related field.
  • Valid School Psychologist license in Nebraska.
  • Experience in a school setting, with a strong understanding of IEPs, BIPs, and school-based mental health services.
  • Proficiency in using virtual communication tools and platforms.
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage a remote caseload effectively.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with teletherapy or virtual counseling.
  • Bilingual or multilingual abilities.
