Job Description

At VocoVision, we connect skilled therapists and educators with students and clients who require remote services. We utilize technology to eliminate geographical barriers and provide access to exceptional care!

Requirements:

  • Active New York School Counselor License
  • Passed Licensed Professional Counselor exam
  • Two years of school experience preferred

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct psychological assessments to evaluate students' cognitive abilities, academic performance, social-emotional functioning, and behavioral challenges
  • Analyze assessment results to identify strengths, weaknesses, and areas that require intervention or support
  • Develop and implement strategies and interventions to address students' academic, social, emotional, and behavioral needs
  • Consult with educators and parents on behavioral management techniques, learning difficulties, and mental health issues
  • Advocate for students' educational and psychological needs within the school system
  • Educate school staff, parents, and the community on topics related to child development, mental health, and effective learning strategies
  • Maintain accurate and confidential records of assessments, interventions, and counseling sessions
