Job Description

A dynamic opportunity exists for an Occupational Therapist to support students in an educational setting. This position is designed for the 2025-2026 school year, focusing on providing therapeutic services to elementary and middle school students.

Location:
Cicero, IL

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to understand students' needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.
  • Implement individualized therapy sessions aimed at enhancing students' motor skills and overall functional abilities.
  • Collaborate with educators, parents, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to each student's care.
  • Monitor and document student progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
  • Participate in IEP (Individualized Education Program) meetings and maintain accurate records of therapy outcomes.

Qualifications:

  • Valid Illinois Occupational Therapy License.
  • Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
  • Strong understanding of developmental milestones and therapeutic practices for children.
