Job Description
Engage in a rewarding opportunity as a Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathology Assistant in Atchison, KS. This position focuses on providing essential communication services to students across various grade levels, primarily within the K-12 setting.
Location: Atchison, KS
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with district SLPs to support students' speech and language needs.
- Assist in data collection and documentation as required.
- Deliver direct services to students aged 3 through 12th grade under SLP supervision.
- Design and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) in alignment with student goals.
- Participate in team meetings and professional development opportunities to enhance skills and strategies.
Qualifications:
- Current Kansas state license as a Speech Language Pathologist or Speech Language Pathology Assistant.
- CCC (Certificate of Clinical Competence) or CFY (Clinical Fellow Year) preferred.
- Experience in school settings, particularly with K-12 students.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
