Schedule: Monday - Friday
Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team for the upcoming school year in the Lexington, KY area. This full-time position offers the opportunity to make a profound impact on the academic, social, and emotional development of our students.
Responsibilities:
- Providing individual or group counseling sessions to support students with emotional, social, and behavioral challenges.
- Responding to emergencies and crises, such as bullying, family issues, or mental health concerns, to ensure the safety and well-being of students.
- Working closely with teachers, administrators, and other staff to develop strategies for supporting students and fostering a positive school environment.
- Connecting students and families with community resources, such as mental health services, housing assistance, or academic support programs.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in social work (BSW) or a master's degree in social work (MSW) from a program accredited by the Council on Social Work Education (CSWE).
- Have at least two years of supervised professional experience in a school setting.
- Current state certification or licensure as a School Social Worker

IR nursing is a subspecialty of radiology that focuses on diagnosing and treating patients using minimally invasive techniques. The goal of an interventional radiology nurse is to reduce risk to patients while improving their health through less invasive procedures for reduced pain and recovery time.
Interventional Radiology Nursing Duties
Some of the IR nurse’s responsibilities include:

- Inserting and removing intravenous lines

Being an IR nurse requires a high level of knowledge, experience, skills and advanced education. Similar to other nursing roles, you will need your BSN from an accredited institution. After completing your BSN, you must pass the NCLEX-RN examination and gain hands-on experience as an RN and radiology nurse. As this is a nursing specialty, you can expect to spend at least five years gaining experience in a residency program before becoming board certified.
