Home Health registered nurses (RN) and nurse practitioners (NP) are specialties who provide one-on-one care for patients in the comfort of their homes. Nurse practitioners will need a graduate degree and will have to become certified by taking a national certification exam through any of five national certification boards, including the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP), the National Certification Corporation (NCC), or the American Nurses Credentialing Center (ANCC).
