Job Title: Travel X-Ray Technologist
Location: Rochester, NY

Type: Full-Time Contract Position

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: Evening Shift, 3:30 PM - 12:00 AM (Monday - Friday)

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Travel X-Ray Technologist to join a leading medical facility in Rochester, NY. This position involves working evening shifts and provides an excellent opportunity for a skilled technologist with strong fluoroscopy and OR skills to make a significant impact in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of X-ray procedures, including moderate sedation, OR, ED trauma, and fluoroscopy exams.
Utilize portable CARM equipment and manage fluoroscopy procedures with proficiency.
Ensure high-quality imaging and patient safety throughout all procedures.
Collaborate with medical staff to deliver exceptional diagnostic services.
Rotate weekday on-call responsibilities and weekend shifts as required.
Maintain and operate X-ray equipment following established safety protocols.

Qualifications:

ARRT Certification required.
New York State Department of Health (NYS DOH) Rad Tech Licensure required.
Strong experience in fluoroscopy and OR procedures.
Recent acute care or surgery center experience with portable CARM experience preferred.
Ability to work scheduled evening shifts (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM) and participate in rotating on-call and weekend shifts.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
