Travel X-Ray Tech - Chicago, IL

Location: Chicago, IL
Shift: 8-hour Evening Shift (40 hours/week), 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Experience Level: 2+ years

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel X-Ray Technician to join our team in Chicago, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and gain valuable experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform a variety of diagnostic x-ray procedures, including chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, C-arm procedures, and fluoroscopy.
  • Provide imaging services to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
  • Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

  • Required:
    • Current Illinois Emergency Medical Services (IEMA) license
    • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
    • American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
    • 2+ years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
    • Proven experience with portable x-ray, chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, C-arm procedures, fluoroscopy, and ED patients
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
  • Preferred:
    • Experience in Level 2 NICU
