Travel X-Ray Tech - Chicago, IL

Location: Chicago, IL
Shift: 8-hour Evening Shift (40 hours/week), 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM
Contract Duration: 13 weeks
Experience Level: 2+ years

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Travel X-Ray Technician to join our team in Chicago, IL. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and gain valuable experience.

Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of diagnostic x-ray procedures, including chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, C-arm procedures, and fluoroscopy.
Provide imaging services to a diverse patient population, including pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients.
Work collaboratively with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care.
Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
Adhere to all safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines.

Qualifications:

Required:
- Current Illinois Emergency Medical Services (IEMA) license
- Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
- American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification
- 2+ years of experience as an X-Ray Technician
- Proven experience with portable x-ray, chest x-rays, long bone x-rays, C-arm procedures, fluoroscopy, and ED patients
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
Preferred:
- Experience in Level 2 NICU
