Job Description

Florida School Districts are looking for a Speech Language Pathologist teacher! This fully remote position is a 1099 contract role, where you will play an essential part in supporting children with communication challenges.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct assessments and develop treatment plans for students with speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Collaborate with parents, educators, and other professionals to create individualized therapy strategies.
  • Provide direct therapy and interventions aimed at enhancing students' communication skills and academic success.
  • Foster an inclusive and engaging environment that encourages student participation.
  • Track and document student progress, behaviors, and achievements, ensuring accurate and thorough records.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in speech-language pathology or a related field.
  • Active Florida state licensure as a speech language pathologist.
  • Prior experience working with children with speech and language disorders is highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of various communication challenges, such as articulation, fluency, and language processing difficulties.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a knack for effective collaboration with students, parents, and colleagues!
