Job Title: Virtual Special Education Teacher

Job Overview:
VocoVision is seeking a full-time Virtual Special Education Teacher for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year to provide virtual services for a school district in Georgia. This is a remote position, allowing you to work from anywhere within Georgia while providing educational services to K-12 students through teletherapy.
As a Virtual Special Education Teacher with VocoVision, you will provide personalized instruction and support to students with diverse learning needs in a virtual environment. You’ll also have access to a comprehensive toolkit filled with resources to enhance your sessions, as well as a clinical and technical support team to assist you with everything from teaching strategies to platform support.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide virtual instruction to K-12 students in an Georgia school district using a secure online platform.
  • Maintain up-to-date documentation IEPs and student progress.
  • Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and parents to track student progress
  • Utilize digital tools and resources to deliver engaging virtual lessons.

Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Special Education.
  • Active Georgia state licensure as a Special Education Teacher
  • 2 years experience working with K-12 students in a school setting
  • Teletherapy experience or comfort with using online platforms is a plus
  • Strong organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
  • Ability to engage students effectively using virtual tools and resources.
