Remote School Social Worker – Licensed in Washington

Location: Remote (Washington)

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate School Social Worker to join our team on a contract basis. This role involves providing remote social work services to students and families, ensuring their mental health and social needs are met in a virtual setting. The ideal candidate will hold an active teaching certificate as a LMSW and be experienced in school social work.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide remote counseling and support to students and families.
Conduct virtual assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
Collaborate with school staff, teachers, and administrators to support student well-being.
Provide crisis intervention and support as needed.
Maintain accurate and confidential records of student interactions and progress.
Participate in virtual meetings and professional development as required.

Qualifications:

Master’s degree in School Social Work or closely related field (LMSW)
Active Washington Teaching Certificate (ESA) or willingness to obtain
Proven experience in school social work and a solid understanding of educational environments.
Strong proficiency in remote counseling techniques and telehealth platforms.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.

Preferred Skills:

Experience with virtual learning environments and remote school settings.
Familiarity with the state of Washington's educational and social work regulations.

Compensation: Competitive, Hourly, Direct Deposit Weekly
