Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking a skilled and experienced Ultrasound Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Peoria, IL. This is an excellent opportunity for professionals looking to expand their career while exploring a vibrant and welcoming community.

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of medical conditions.
Prepare and position patients for imaging procedures, ensuring their safety and comfort.
Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment, ensuring the production of high-quality diagnostic images.
Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate and timely results.
Document procedures and findings in the electronic medical record system.
Adhere to safety protocols and infection control standards.

Requirements:

Experience:
- Minimum of 1+ years of experience in ultrasound/sonography.
Education:
- Associate's Degree in Ultrasound/Sonography (or equivalent).
Certifications:
- ARDMS (American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography).
- BLS certification (American Heart Association ONLY).
