Job Title: Travel Ultrasound Sonographer - Evening Shift

Location: Grand Junction, CO

Type: Full-Time Contract Position

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 10 Hour Shifts, Evening Shift

Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Ultrasound Sonographer for a 13-week contract position in Grand Junction, CO. This evening shift role, with 10-hour shifts, provides an excellent opportunity for an experienced Ultrasound Sonographer to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures to evaluate internal organs and vessels for disease diagnosis.
Prepare exam rooms, obtain informed consent, and request accurate clinical history as necessary for exams.
Review patient history and determine proper protocol selection.
Explain examination methods, position patients, and assess their status and needs.
Ensure quality images and coordinate the preparation of images/exams for physician review.
Document and communicate patient-related information thoroughly and accurately.
Monitor equipment reliability and safety, report issues and ensure equipment maintenance.
Participate in quality initiatives, including patient satisfaction and workflow improvements.
Promote the mission, vision, and values of SCL Health, and abide by service behavior standards.

Qualifications:

ARDMS certification.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as an Ultrasound Sonographer in a hospital setting.
Valid Colorado state license in Ultrasound Technology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Ability to travel to and from the workplace.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
Strong understanding of ultrasound safety protocols.
Excellent technical skills in operating ultrasound equipment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure and handle multiple tasks.
Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism.

Pay Range:

$1900-$2100 weekly, dependent on experience.
