Location: Lafayette, CO

Shift: 12 Hour Shifts, Day Shift

Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel Radiology Technologist III for a 13-week contract position in Lafayette, CO. This day shift role, with 12-hour shifts, offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced Radiology Technologist to work in a dynamic and supportive environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform as a plain film radiographer and work independently in one other specialized Medical Imaging area.
Operate Radiologic equipment and prepare supplies, equipment, and contrast for the patient.
Perform general office duties including scheduling of patients and record keeping.
Work under the occasional supervision of the Medical Imaging Supervisor, Lead Technologist, and the Medical Imaging Director.
Be scheduled for "on call" duties.
Perform all other duties as assigned.
Ensure compliance with core competencies: Pain Management, Falls, Age Specific, Compliance, and computerized annual required education.

Qualifications:

ARRT certification.
Valid Colorado state license in Radiologic Technology.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Radiology Technologist in a hospital setting.
Expertise in at least one specialized Medical Imaging area (ultrasound, nuclear medicine, computerized tomography, mammography, bone density, or MRI).
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Strong understanding of radiology safety protocols.
Excellent technical skills in operating Radiologic equipment.
Ability to work efficiently under pressure, particularly with trauma patients.
Demonstrated leadership abilities in a radiology setting.
Willingness to take call as required.
Ability to travel to and from assignments.

Pay Range:

$1700-1900 weekly, dependent on experience.
