Location: McKeesport, PA

Type: Travel Contract

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse (RN) to join the Step Down unit at a top healthcare facility in McKeesport, PA. This travel assignment offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in a fast-paced environment while providing high-quality care to patients in critical transition.

Key Responsibilities:

Deliver patient-centered care in the Step Down unit, ensuring the highest level of care for patients transitioning from ICU.
Monitor patient progress and report critical changes to the medical team.
Administer medications and treatments, following all safety protocols.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to create and implement individualized care plans.
Provide patient and family education on recovery and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

Active Pennsylvania RN license.
At least 2 years of experience in a Step Down unit or similar critical care setting.
Flexibility to work rotating shifts, including weekends and holidays.
Current BLS and ACLS certifications.
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
