Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is hiring an experienced Travel MedSurg/Telemetry RN for a 20-week contract in Evansville, IL. This position offers 12-hour night shifts at a respected facility. As a Travel RN in MedSurg and Telemetry, you will provide essential care to patients in medical-surgical and telemetry settings, ensuring comprehensive management of their needs. Note that this position follows the 50-mile radius rule—local candidates will not be considered.

Key Responsibilities:

Administer care to patients in both medical-surgical and telemetry units.
Monitor vital signs and telemetry data to assess patient conditions.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to create and implement patient care plans.
Perform routine assessments, medication administration, and patient documentation.
Educate patients and families on health management and treatment plans.

Qualifications:

Valid RN license with experience in MedSurg and Telemetry required.
At least 2 years of MedSurg and Telemetry nursing experience.
Skilled in telemetry monitoring and providing medical-surgical care.
Flexibility to work 12-hour night shifts throughout the contract.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and complete onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
50-mile radius rule applies (no local candidates).
