Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and experienced Travel Radiation Therapist for a 13-week assignment in La Mesa, CA. This opportunity allows you to work in a dynamic healthcare setting while enjoying the beautiful surroundings of La Mesa.

Responsibilities:

Administer radiation therapy treatments to patients according to prescribed treatment plans.
Operate and maintain radiation therapy equipment, including Elekta Linear Accelerators and Accuray Radixact (Tomo).
Utilize Mosaiq software for treatment planning and patient management.
Monitor and document patient progress and treatment responses.
Provide patient education and support throughout the course of therapy.
Ensure adherence to safety protocols and infection control procedures.
Collaborate with oncologists, medical physicists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.

Requirements:

Licensure: Active CRT (Certified Radiologic Technologist) and ARRT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists) certification required.
Certifications: BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience as a Radiation Therapist.
Proficiency in using Mosaiq, Elekta Linear Accelerators, and Accuray Radixact (Tomo).
Strong understanding of radiation therapy techniques and safety protocols.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
