Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a skilled Rad Tech HVI IR for a 13-week travel assignment in Urbana, Illinois. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced interventional radiology environment, performing critical procedures for a wide variety of patients. Urbana, located in central Illinois, is home to a thriving university town atmosphere, with plenty of cultural and recreational opportunities to enjoy when you're not on shift.

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and withhold contrast and treatments as appropriate.
  • Assess patients for allergies and ensure safety during procedures.
  • Perform peripheral vascular work, venous central lines, tube changes, embolization work (venous and arterial), and venous thrombectomy work.
  • Assist with dialysis work, including AV fistulas, tunneled dialysis catheters, and peritoneal dialysis catheters.
  • Handle tube access and changes, including G-tube, cholecystostomy, nephrostomy, biliary, abscess, and SPC tubes.
  • Participate in neuro interventions, including cerebral arterial/venous procedures and kyphoplasty (preferred).
  • Take late shift duties as assigned to meet department needs.
  • Experience with Interventional Neurology procedures is preferred.

Qualifications:

  • Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, OR a Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
  • Certifications & Licensure:
    • BLS (American Heart Association)
    • ACLS (American Heart Association)
    • IEMA Radiography License (Illinois)
    • Radiography (R)(ARRT)
