Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is looking for a skilled Rad Tech HVI IR for a 13-week travel assignment in Urbana, Illinois. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a dynamic, fast-paced interventional radiology environment, performing critical procedures for a wide variety of patients. Urbana, located in central Illinois, is home to a thriving university town atmosphere, with plenty of cultural and recreational opportunities to enjoy when you're not on shift.

Responsibilities:

Administer and withhold contrast and treatments as appropriate.
Assess patients for allergies and ensure safety during procedures.
Perform peripheral vascular work, venous central lines, tube changes, embolization work (venous and arterial), and venous thrombectomy work.
Assist with dialysis work, including AV fistulas, tunneled dialysis catheters, and peritoneal dialysis catheters.
Handle tube access and changes, including G-tube, cholecystostomy, nephrostomy, biliary, abscess, and SPC tubes.
Participate in neuro interventions, including cerebral arterial/venous procedures and kyphoplasty (preferred).
Take late shift duties as assigned to meet department needs.
Experience with Interventional Neurology procedures is preferred.

Qualifications:

Education: Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology or a related field, OR a Certificate in Radiologic Technology.
Certifications & Licensure:
- BLS (American Heart Association)
- ACLS (American Heart Association)
- IEMA Radiography License (Illinois)
- Radiography (R)(ARRT)
