Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a dedicated and experienced Travel Nuclear Medicine Technologist for an exciting 13-week assignment in Rockford, IL. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while exploring the beautiful Rockford area.

Position Overview:

Location: Rockford, IL
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shift: Full-time, 40 hours per week

Responsibilities:

Perform diagnostic and therapeutic nuclear medicine procedures using advanced imaging technology.
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals to patients as needed.
Ensure patient safety and comfort during procedures, providing clear communication and instructions.
Collaborate with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of images.
Maintain accurate patient records and comply with hospital policies and procedures.
Operate, calibrate, and maintain nuclear medicine equipment.
Follow radiation safety protocols to protect patients and staff.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in nuclear medicine.
Current Illinois state licensure.
BLS certification.
Strong knowledge of nuclear medicine procedures and radiation safety practices.
Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
Previous travel experience preferred.
