Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist for a 13-week travel assignment in Peoria, IL. Known as the “Heart of Illinois,” Peoria combines Midwestern charm with cultural and outdoor attractions, making it an ideal location for healthcare professionals looking for a fulfilling assignment.

Responsibilities:

Perform high-quality nuclear medicine imaging studies, including diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
Operate and maintain imaging equipment, ensuring accuracy and safety.
Administer radiopharmaceuticals and monitor patients during procedures.
Adhere to radiation safety protocols and facility guidelines.
Accurately document patient data and imaging results in the EMR system.

Qualifications:

Active ARRT(N) or NMTCB certification.
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of recent nuclear medicine experience.
Strong understanding of radiation safety and imaging protocols.
