Nuclear Medicine Technologist

Location: Sacramento, CA

Schedule: M-F, 0800 Start + Required Call

Experience: 2 years

Certifications:

BLS
Certified Nuclear Cardiology Technologist (NMTCB-NCT)
Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (Nuc Med) - ARRT (N)

Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Nuclear Medicine Technologist to join our dynamic team in Sacramento, CA. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of nuclear medicine principles and procedures, and be able to perform a variety of diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of nuclear medicine procedures, including but not limited to:
- Nuclear cardiology studies
- Bone scans
- Thyroid scans
- Renal scans
Prepare and administer radiopharmaceuticals
Operate nuclear medicine equipment, including gamma cameras and SPECT/CT scanners
Analyze and interpret nuclear medicine images
Maintain accurate patient records
Adhere to all safety regulations and quality control procedures

Qualifications:

Associate's degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or related field
Current ARRT (N) certification
NMTCB-NCT certification
Valid BLS certification
Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist
Strong interpersonal and communication skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a team
