Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is actively seeking a compassionate and skilled NICU RN for a 13-week travel assignment. This is a great opportunity to work in a leading medical facility, providing high-level care for neonates in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Job Responsibilities:

Provide direct nursing care to critically ill neonates, including premature and low birth weight infants, and those with congenital conditions.
Perform assessments, implement care plans, and monitor the health status of newborns.
Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including neonatologists, respiratory therapists, and other NICU staff.
Administer medications, IV fluids, and nutrition, and assist with specialized procedures.
Support and educate families on infant care and NICU processes.
Maintain accurate and timely charting using the facility's EMR system.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent NICU experience required.
Licensure: Active ILRN license.
Certifications:
- BLS (Basic Life Support)
- NRP (Neonatal Resuscitation Program)
- PALS (Pediatric Advanced Life Support)
Strong understanding of neonatal care, critical thinking, and excellent communication skills.
