Travel MRI Technologist
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (5x 8's)
Call & Holidays: Must be available for on-call shifts and work on holidays as needed.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Travel MRI Technologist to join our team in Houston, TX. As a Travel MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care and safety during MRI procedures. This position requires flexibility, including taking on-call shifts and working on holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging in a timely manner.
Position patients correctly for MRI imaging, and monitor their well-being during the procedure.
Review images for clarity, quality, and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
Maintain patient safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and following safety guidelines.
Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
Communicate effectively with patients, providing instructions and answering questions.
Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care.
Take on-call shifts and work holidays as required by the facility.

Qualifications:

Licensing/Certification:
- Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR) verification required.
- Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
- Experience with a variety of MRI systems and imaging techniques.
Skills:
- Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality imaging.
- Excellent communication and patient care skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting and manage call and holiday shifts.
