Travel MRI Technologist
Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM (5x 8's)
Call & Holidays: Must be available for on-call shifts and work on holidays as needed.

Position Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Travel MRI Technologist to join our team in Houston, TX. As a Travel MRI Tech, you will be responsible for operating MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images. You will work closely with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure patient care and safety during MRI procedures. This position requires flexibility, including taking on-call shifts and working on holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform MRI scans on patients, ensuring high-quality imaging in a timely manner.
  • Position patients correctly for MRI imaging, and monitor their well-being during the procedure.
  • Review images for clarity, quality, and accuracy, ensuring they meet diagnostic standards.
  • Maintain patient safety protocols, including proper use of equipment and following safety guidelines.
  • Document patient information and procedure details accurately.
  • Communicate effectively with patients, providing instructions and answering questions.
  • Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare professionals to deliver optimal care.
  • Take on-call shifts and work holidays as required by the facility.

Qualifications:

  • Licensing/Certification:
    • Certified MRI Technologist (ARRT-MR) verification required.
    • Current BLS (Basic Life Support) certification.
  • Experience:
    • Minimum of 2 years of experience as an MRI Technologist.
    • Experience with a variety of MRI systems and imaging techniques.
  • Skills:
    • Strong attention to detail and high standards for quality imaging.
    • Excellent communication and patient care skills.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
    • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced healthcare setting and manage call and holiday shifts.
