Job Title: Med/Surg/Telemetry Nurse
Location: Syracuse, NY

Type: Travel

Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: Night Shifts

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking experienced Med/Surg/Telemetry Nurses for travel assignments in Syracuse, NY. This role involves working night shifts in adult Med/Surg units, with responsibilities including IV insertion, lab draws, and telemetry monitoring. Preferred candidates will have Level 1 or 2 trauma experience and EPIC Electronic Medical Records experience. The position requires working every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major seasonal holidays.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive patient care in Med/Surg units, including starting IVs and drawing labs.
Monitor telemetry data and respond to changes in patient conditions.
Utilize EPIC Electronic Medical Records for accurate documentation.
Perform patient care with minimal orientation and supervision.
Work every other weekend and 2 out of 3 major seasonal holidays.

Qualifications:

Current New York State RN Registration required.
BLS certification required; must be able to be recertified.
Minimum of 1.5 years of recent experience in an acute care facility.
Experience in Level 1 or 2 trauma centers preferred.
Proficiency with EPIC Electronic Medical Records preferred.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills required.
No history of professional license or certification suspension or investigation.
