Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Med Surg RN for a 13-week travel assignment in Marinette, WI. This role offers the opportunity to work in a well-regarded healthcare facility, providing vital care to a diverse patient population. Marinette, located along the scenic Menominee River and near Lake Michigan, offers a picturesque setting for both work and relaxation.

Job Details:

Location: Marinette, WI
Duration: 13-week contract
Setting: Medical/Surgical Unit

Job Responsibilities:

Provide comprehensive nursing care to medical-surgical patients, including monitoring and managing various health conditions.
Administer medications, including IVs, and perform treatments as prescribed by physicians.
Utilize EPIC for accurate charting and documentation of patient information and care plans.
Operate Alaris infusion pumps and Pyxis medication management systems to ensure precise administration of treatments.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team.
Monitor patient progress, manage care for acute and chronic conditions, and provide education and support to patients and families.
Ensure adherence to safety and infection control protocols.

Qualifications:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent Med Surg RN experience
Certifications: BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required
Licensure: Active RN license in Wisconsin or compact state
Skills Required: Proficiency with EPIC charting, Alaris infusion pumps, and Pyxis medication management systems
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills, excellent communication, and patient care abilities
