Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced Med Surg ICU Float RN for a 13-week travel contract in Alton, IL. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment while enjoying the charm and community spirit of Alton.

Job Details:

Location: Alton, IL
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks

Responsibilities:

Provide nursing care in Med Surg and ICU settings as required.
Float between Med Surg and ICU units based on patient care needs.
Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care in both settings.
Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
Monitor and record patient progress and responses to treatments.
Collaborate with healthcare teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Educate patients and families about health conditions, treatments, and self-care.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records.

Requirements:

Active RN license in Illinois.
BLS and ACLS certifications required.
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in Med Surg and ICU settings.
Strong assessment and critical care skills.
Ability to float between units and adapt to various patient needs.
Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
