Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Travel Mammography Tech for a 13-week assignment in Louisville, KY. This position offers an excellent opportunity to work in a well-established healthcare facility in Louisville, known for its medical excellence and vibrant cultural scene.

Job Requirements:

ARRT (M) certification required
BLS certification required
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Mammography
Experience with biopsy and stereotactic procedures is required
Strong knowledge of mammography imaging and safety protocols
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and patient care skills

Key Responsibilities:

Perform mammography procedures, including screening and diagnostic imaging
Perform stereotactic and biopsy procedures as needed
Ensure proper patient positioning and imaging technique for optimal results
Maintain and operate mammography equipment, ensuring safety and accuracy
Provide patient care, ensuring comfort and safety during procedures
Document patient information, imaging results, and reports accurately
Adhere to safety protocols and radiation safety guidelines
