Job Title: Travel Mammography Technologist - Day Shift

Location: Houston, Texas

Type: Full-Time Contract Position

Shift: Days, 8:30a-5p

Job Description: Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and independently adaptable Travel Mammography Technologist for a 13-week contract position in Houston, Texas. This role primarily involves day shifts, offering an excellent opportunity for experienced Mammography Technologists to work in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality screening and diagnostic mammograms.
  • Ensure patient safety and comfort throughout the imaging process.
  • Operate and maintain mammography equipment.
  • Prepare and position patients for mammography procedures.
  • Collaborate with radiologists and other medical staff to ensure accurate imaging and patient care.
  • Maintain patient records and documentation.
  • Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures.
  • Demonstrate excellence in patient care and technical performance.

Qualifications:

  • ARRT certification in Mammography.
  • Valid Indiana state license in Mammography Technology.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Mammography Technologist in a hospital or clinical setting.
  • Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
  • Strong understanding of mammography safety protocols.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to changing environments.
  • Excellent technical skills in operating mammography equipment.
  • Ability to work occasional evenings and some Saturdays.
  • Ability to travel to and from the workplace.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
