Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced and skilled Travel IR Special Procedure Tech for a 13-week assignment in Peoria, IL. This role offers the chance to work in a well-established healthcare facility with a supportive team, performing diagnostic and interventional procedures.

Position Details:

Location: Peoria, IL
Assignment Duration: 13 weeks
Shifts: 9-hour days

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of experience as an IR Special Procedure Tech.
Must have experience in performing diagnostic and interventional radiology procedures.
ARRT certification (Radiography or ARRT(IR)) required.
BLS certification required.
Strong knowledge of IR procedures, patient care, and sterile technique.

Responsibilities:

Assist in performing interventional radiology procedures, ensuring patient safety and comfort.
Set up and operate IR equipment, including fluoroscopy and other imaging systems.
Work closely with radiologists and other healthcare providers to ensure accurate procedures and diagnoses.
Maintain sterile fields, provide patient care, and prepare the procedure room.
Monitor and document patient status during and after procedures.
