Duration: 13 weeks

Shift: 8-hour Day Shift (40 hours per week)

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is hiring a skilled Interventional Radiology (IR) Tech for a travel position in Barrington, IL. This role involves supporting non-invasive and invasive procedures, including biopsies and peripheral interventions. The schedule consists of Monday through Friday shifts (7:30 AM - 4:00 PM) with on-call requirements for approximately 10 days per month, and weekend rotations every 4th weekend. The ideal candidate will be comfortable scrubbing and recording during procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

Assist with non-invasive and invasive procedures in a dynamic IR setting.
Perform biopsies, peripheral interventions, and other radiologic procedures.
Support 4 procedure rooms with a separate pre/post area.
Ensure accurate documentation using EPIC and MERGE charting systems.
Participate in on-call rotations and provide weekend coverage as required.

Qualifications:

Active BLS, ACLS, and ARRT certifications required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in Interventional Radiology required.
Experience scrubbing and recording required.
Strongly preferred: Experience in peripheral interventions.
Ability to pass a background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
