ICU RN – Travel Nursing Contract in Burlington, VT

Location: Burlington, Vermont
Position: ICU Registered Nurse
Contract Length: 13 weeks
Shift: 12-hour nights, 36 hours per week
Start Date: November 2024

Job Overview:
Join our team in Burlington, VT, as an ICU Registered Nurse, where you'll provide critical care to patients in a fast-paced, high-acuity environment. This travel nursing position is ideal for skilled nurses looking for an exciting opportunity to make a difference in patients' lives.

Responsibilities:

  • Provide direct patient care to critically ill patients in the ICU, including monitoring vital signs and administering medications.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans.
  • Perform complex assessments and interventions to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
  • Educate patients and families on health management and post-discharge care.

Qualifications:

  • Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience required.
  • Certifications: BLS and ACLS certifications required; CCRN preferred.
  • Skills: Strong critical thinking and clinical assessment skills, ability to work under pressure, and excellent communication skills.
