Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented EEG Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Urbana, IL. Known for its friendly community and proximity to the University of Illinois, Urbana offers a perfect balance of professional opportunities and cultural experiences.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine and specialized EEG procedures, including ambulatory and long-term monitoring studies.
Prepare patients for procedures, ensuring comfort and accurate placement of electrodes.
Monitor and assess EEG recordings, identifying abnormalities and providing preliminary findings.
Maintain and troubleshoot EEG equipment as needed.
Accurately document procedures and patient information in the EMR system.

Qualifications:

Active R. EEG T. certification preferred (ABRET).
Current BLS certification (AHA preferred).
Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in EEG studies.
Proficiency with Natus or Nihon Kohden systems preferred.
Excellent communication and patient care skills.
