Job Title: Echo (Pediatric Experience Preferred)
Location: Chicago, IL

Type: Travel Contract

Duration: 13 Weeks

Shift: 8-Hour Day Shift (40 hours/week), with on-call, weekend, holiday, and floating requirements as outlined below.

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled Echo technologist with pediatric experience preferred, to join a leading medical facility in Chicago, IL. This role requires 2 years of Echo experience in a trauma hospital, previous travel experience, and active BLS, ARDMS, and CCI credentialing. This is an excellent opportunity for a qualified technologist to enhance their skills in a dynamic and supportive setting.

On Call/Call Back Requirements: Traveler will not take call unless they have pediatric experience, as the facility only does pediatric call.
Weekend Rotation: Help with weekends as needed.
Holiday Requirements: As needed.
Floating Requirements: Yes, to perform bedside echos.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform appropriate dopplers in echo and identify and evaluate all pathology, especially valvular pathology.
Conduct exercise and dobutamine stress echoes, assist in TEEs, and utilize Definity and bubble studies.
Identify critical findings in echo and work with 4 imaging rooms, including portables, to serve adult and occasional pediatric patients.
Manage patient loads across inpatient, outpatient, and ED settings, including mother/baby and NICU patients.
Utilize EPIC EMR, Pyxis med dispense, and Merge PACS, with Phillips equipment.

Qualifications:

2 years of Echo experience in a trauma hospital setting.
Previous travel experience.
Active BLS, ARDMS, and CCI credentialing at the time of submission.
Flexibility and strong interpersonal skills.
Experience with pediatric echos and Phillips equipment is preferred.
Ability to pass background drug, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission.
