Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced CVOR Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Lafayette, CO. Nestled in the foothills of the Rocky Mountains, Lafayette offers stunning natural beauty and a welcoming community, making it a great destination for healthcare professionals looking to combine work with outdoor adventure.

Responsibilities:

Assist in cardiovascular operating room (CVOR) procedures, including open heart, thoracic, and vascular surgeries.
Prepare and maintain a sterile environment, ensuring all surgical instruments and equipment are readily available.
Assist the surgical team by passing instruments, supplies, and maintaining visibility of the surgical site.
Ensure proper handling and care of surgical instruments before, during, and after procedures.
Collaborate with the surgical team to provide high-quality care to patients undergoing complex cardiovascular procedures.

Requirements:

Minimum of 2 years of CVOR Tech experience
Experience in cardiovascular surgeries, including open heart and thoracic procedures
AHA BLS certification
Strong knowledge of surgical instruments and sterile techniques
Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment
