Travel CT Technologist – 13-Week Contract – Birmingham, AL

Job Type: Travel Contract (13 Weeks)
Location: Birmingham, Alabama
Start Date: ASAP
Shift: Days – 4x10s, 9:00 AM – 7:30 PM

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced CT Technologist for a 13-week travel contract in Birmingham, AL. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in CT imaging, patient care, and radiation safety, with the ability to work 4x10-hour day shifts in a fast-paced hospital setting.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Perform high-quality CT scans following physician orders
  • Ensure proper patient positioning and radiation safety protocols
  • Administer contrast materials as required
  • Collaborate with radiologists and medical staff for accurate diagnostics
  • Maintain and operate imaging equipment efficiently
  • Document patient information accurately in the system

Requirements:

  • ARRT (CT) Certification required
  • BLS Certification – American Heart Association
  • Alabama state license or eligibility to obtain one
  • Minimum of 2 years of CT experience
  • Strong knowledge of radiation safety and contrast administration
  • Previous travel experience preferred but not required
