Job Title: Travel CT Technologist - 2nd Shift

Location: York, PA

Type: Full-Time Contract Position

Shift: Night Shift (M-F)

Job Description:

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking a skilled and dedicated Travel CT Technologist for a 13-week contract position in York, PA. This role involves working the night shift, Monday to Friday, providing an excellent opportunity for an experienced CT Technologist to advance their career in a supportive and dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform a variety of CT procedures to diagnose and evaluate medical conditions.
Prepare exam rooms, obtain informed consent, and gather accurate clinical history.
Review patient history and determine appropriate CT protocols.
Explain examination methods, position patients, and ensure their comfort and safety during procedures.
Ensure the quality of CT images and coordinate the preparation of images/exams for physician review.
Document and communicate patient-related information thoroughly and accurately.
Monitor CT equipment performance, report issues, and perform necessary maintenance.
Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

ARRT certification required.
Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a CT Technologist in a hospital setting.
Valid Pennsylvania state license in Radiologic Technology.
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification through the American Heart Association (AHA).
Ability to work the night shift, Monday to Friday.
Strong understanding of CT safety protocols.
Excellent technical skills in operating CT equipment.
Ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and work well under pressure.
Demonstrated commitment to high standards of patient care and professionalism.
Ability to travel to and from the workplace.
Ability to pass a background check and drug screen in accordance with Joint Commission standards.
