Job Description

Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced CT Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Elizabethtown, KY. If you are looking for an opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare setting and have Epic experience, this is the perfect role for you.

Responsibilities:

Perform CT scans for various areas of the body, including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, spine/musculoskeletal, and brain perfusion.
Prepare and administer contrast media as per the procedure protocol.
Start IVs for contrast injection.
Perform multiplanar reconstructions, ensuring high-quality imaging.
Assist with aspirations/biopsies and drainage procedures.
Perform CT angiograms (CTA) when required.
Adhere to isolation precautions as needed.
Utilize PACS for image management and collaboration with other medical professionals.
Follow safety and infection control protocols to ensure patient and staff safety.

Requirements:

Experience: Minimum of 2 years of experience in CT, with expertise in multiple modalities including abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal.
Certifications/Training:
- ARRT-CT (American Registry of Radiologic Technologists – CT).
- BLS (American Heart Association ONLY).
Skills:
- Epic experience required.
- Experience with GE, Hitachi, Phillips, Siemens, or Toshiba CT equipment.
- Ability to perform contrast media administration and IV starts.
- Experience with aspirations, biopsies, drainage, and brain perfusion (preferred).
- Experience with CT angiograms (CTA) preferred.
Licensure: Active state licensure and ARRT certification
