Shift: 7 a.m. - 8:30 p.m., Friday - Sunday

Job Description:
Sunbelt Staffing is seeking an experienced CT Tech for a 12-week travel assignment in Tyler, TX. This role involves performing a variety of routine and advanced imaging procedures, utilizing cutting-edge CT equipment. The CT Tech will float between the main hospital and the emergency room. The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of experience in CT, be comfortable working in the ER, and possess the necessary certifications.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform routine and advanced imaging/diagnostic procedures using CT equipment
Demonstrate competency in starting and maintaining IV access with pressurized injection equipment
Evaluate patients for clinical contrast history and manage any contraindications
Assist radiologists in invasive procedures and biopsies, ensuring precision in anatomical locations
Ensure exam rooms are clean, well-stocked, and compliant with Infection Control standards
Accurately code and enter charges for procedures
Adapt patient care methods to accommodate each patient's unique needs, including physical, psychosocial, cultural, spiritual, and developmental factors
Maintain patient confidentiality and protect sensitive information

Qualifications:

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent
Minimum of 1 year of CT Tech experience
Travel experience required
Texas MRT Licensure
ARRT (R)(CT) certification
BLS (AHA) certification
Ability to pass background check, drug screen, and onboarding in compliance with the Joint Commission
